Car of the Future  They Are Already Available Today

Car of the future, the very mention of these words is enough to conjure up images of all those cars driven by comic book superheroes for most. While the looks may be important, it is what is inside the hood that ultimately counts, what with the rising fuel costs not predicted to end in the near future. Thankfully, though technology has come to the rescue and today there are many cars available which use alternative sources of energy. Hybrid cars, which use both electricity, as well as gasoline, are a good example. Similarly cars which use HHO or Brown’s gas as the supplementary source of energy, apart from gasoline, are the other good example. To put it in a nutshell, with these technologies, you can buy a car of the future today.

While electricity powered vehicles have batteries that can be plugged in, charged and then driven away, the technology working inside cars using HHO is also very simple. Water is converted into HHO by using a conversion kit that is installed in the car. The Brown’s gas that is produced is forced into the combustion chambers of the car. What this does is to increase the energy output of the car. The car is now able to travel to a longer distance, while utilizing the same amount of fuel as before. This in turn means substantial savings for you’re when it comes to gasoline costs.

Car of the future, whether it runs on electricity, HHO or gasoline, needs to be environment friendly too. This is where cars running on Brown’s gas have a major advantage. The gas helps in reducing emission too, apart from improving fuel efficiency, making them just as effective as other hybrid cars using electricity along with gasoline.

With rapid technological developments taking place, we can expect the car of the future to be both more environment, as well as user friendly.

Future Energy Concepts The Fuel Cell

With global warming, general pollution and rising fuel prices, our future energy needs are a hot topic. Fuel cells may represent a solution, one coming sooner than later.

Future Energy Concepts – The Fuel Cell

A fuel cell is a fairly vague phrase thrown around by those in the know and those that know relatively little. Regardless of the particular design, a fuel cell is essentially a cell similar to a battery in which a chemical process occurs to produce electricity. In this case, however, the fuel is hydrogen. The basic idea is to combine hydrogen with oxygen in a process that produces electricity. This electricity is then used as we would normally use it in our lives. Read the rest of this entry »
